Obituary of George Shanks Bell

Peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at London Health Sciences Centre – University Campus George “Scotty” Shanks Bell of West Lorne passed away at the age of 91. Loving husband of Marie Bell (nee Seburn) for 69 years. Beloved father of Edd (Rosa) Bell of West Lorne and Judy (Tony) Schaffer of Iona Station. Survived by grandchildren Michelle, Shaunna and Scotty. Sadly missed by his sister in law Marge Bell. Predeceased by his siblings Jim, Betty, Flo and Bill. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Crinan Presbyterian Church , 14444 Graham Road, West Lorne, on Saturday, August 22nd from 1:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm. A Royal Canadian Legion Service under the auspices of RCL Branch 221, West Lorne will take place at 1:45 pm. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.
