Obituary of Joseph Fischer

Fischer, Joseph (Joe) Peacefully, at University Hospital, London on Tuesday, August 18th, 2015. Joseph (Joe) Fischer of West Lorne at the age of 77. Loving husband of Sylvia (Perger) for 58 years., admired father of Dennis (Sandra) Fischer of Rodney, Pam (Terry) Wardell of Rodney and Linda Fischer of West Lorne. Dearly loved and proud grandpa of Sarah (Bryan) Griffiths, Jacob (Jodie) Fischer, Matthew, Michael and Michelle Parezanovic. Survived by his sister in law Pat Perger and brother in law Ronald Nemeth. Joe was a proud farmer who loved his family, his community and the land that he farmed. He served as a councilor and reeve in West Elgin for many years and served the Elgin International Club passionately. Friends may call at Denning’s of West Lorne on Friday, August 21st, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where a funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11 am.
