Peacefully on November 12, 2020 John A. Bakker passed away at Four Counties Health Alliance in his 92nd year. Lovingly remembered by his wife Joanne Bakker of 70 years. Father to Willy (George) Van Dyk, John (Linda) Bakker, Jenny (Leigh) Allossery, Francine (Ron) Verhelle, Josie (Perry) Allossery. Opa to Lisa (Richard), Erica (Jay), George Jr., Jonathan (Anne), Sarah (Tim), Josh, Jennifer, Sandra, Lee, Ashlee, Amanda (Carlos), Angie, Brian (Candice), David (Lindsay), Vickie (Mike), Katie, Jessica (Greg). Opa to many loving great grandchildren. Survived by sibling Ada, Toos, Johan, Kees, Jaantje, Alie, Corry, Dora, Tonny and Antoon. Predeceased by great grandson Henry and siblings Marie, Nico and Annie.
John enjoyed playing the button box, dancing, travelling, fishing, coffee with the neighbours and playing cards. He was an easy going, fun natured man who was proud of his family.

A private mass will take place with interment in St. Mary's. Cemetery, West Lorne.
