Suddenly, on March 2, 2021 Francis “Frank” Thibert passed away at home in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Patricia Thibert of Rodney for 49 years. Loving father to Melanie and Michael (Mary). Proud grandpa to Kaydence and Maverick. Brother to Bill. Son-in-law to Eylla Rivest. Brother-in-law to Joanne (Barry) Larson, Janice Jay and Randy Rivest. Special Uncle to Kim (Andrew) McAdams, Lynne Thibert, Kristy (Jason) Barker, Janine (Jason) Lines and Jeremy Jay. Remembered by several great nieces, nephews and extended family. Missed by his four-legged friend Oscar. Predeceased by his parents Charles Thibert and Alexandra Thibert, brother Charles Jr. Thibert (2016), and father-in-law Leon Rivest (2000).
Frank began his career working at the Orford Farmers Co-op in Muirkirk and eventually worked his way up to Managing the Hardware. In his almost 20 years there he built good relationships with his customers in our farming community. He later worked at GKN Walterscheid Canada in Rodney where he served as Shop Steward until his retirement.
Frank was a man who loved his family and enjoyed bringing smiles and laughs to everyone around him. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, willingness to help, and his caring personality.
